He started 1910 -1912 with fashion drawings, lived and worked between 1911-1922 in New York, NY. 1923 -1924 studied with Teng Kwei, Seattle, WA. Afterwards he travelled to Mexico, China and Japan and studied calligraphy. From 1938 -1960 he lived in Seattle WA, USA.
