Floral cloisonne ornaments. Metal handles shaped as dragon heads. Excellent condition.
Cloisonne is a French term and means "enclosed in a cell". This decorative technique in which a cell pattern made up of bent strips of metals, in order to separate different colored fields of enamel, soldered to the metal base of the vessel, is filled with enamels. Firing melts the soft glass paste (enamel) and fuses it to the metal.
