Antique Bread Knife

In-Stock Notification
This is a truly wonderful antique English bread knife. The blade marked John cooper 41 St James street, and the cipher VR with a crown. The cipher places the manufacture of the knife before 1876 when Victoria was made Empress of India, and items manufactured after that date would be marked VRI. The handle of the knife is Ivory and carved to look like an ear of corn. It is incredibly well done and life like. There is some ware to the blade and some minor chips at very end of the handle.
